GeoGraph is...

• ...a web based project to collect and reference geographically representative images of every square kilometer of the British Isles.
• ...a true "community project" - open source developers creating a platform for displaying images licences under Creative Commons licences.
• ...a GPL licenced open source software platform to enable similar projects to be carried out in other countries

Background

The idea has its origins in Degree Confluence Project and was hatched by keen geocacher Gary Rogers (aka Inukshk). Lacking the technical clout to make it a reality, fellow geocachers stepped in to assist and turned it into a community project - GPL licenced code combined with Creative Commons licenced content!
